Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation
The first of the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation’s winter series of six Loon Zooms will be offered on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 7 pm – 8 pm.
The virtual presentation will feature ACLC’s executive director, Dr. Nina Schoch, and long-time ACLC field staff member and retired forest ranger Gary Lee. Together, they will share stories from their decades of experience rescuing and recovering loons in distress throughout the Adirondack Park, as well as insights into status of the Park’s loon population.

Loon Zooms will be offered the second Thursday of each month through April and will feature guest speakers from around the country who work with Loon populations.

- April 10 - Preview & Review: A Look Back at 2024 and Ahead at 2025, Griffin Archambault, ACLC
Registration for all six Loon Zooms can be purchased online for $50.
